Maundy Thursday

8 am – Morning Prayer
5.30 pm – Evening Prayer
7.30 pm – Mass of the Lord’s Supper with washing of feet. This service is sung by Hereford Cathedral Voluntary Choir and concludes with a procession to the altar of repose in All Saints’ Church.

Good Friday

Friday 18 April

8 am – Morning Prayer & Litany
10 am – Service for Children and Families
Families and children are welcome to join us for this relaxed and interactive service which tells the story of Holy Week in the Cathedral
Noon – 1.20 pm – Preaching of the Passion
1.30 pm – 3 pm Liturgy of the Passion

Saturday 19 April

8 am – Morning Prayer & Litany
5.30 pm – Choral Evensong with Blessing of the Easter Garden
8 pm – Paschal Vigil and First Eucharist of Easter – This service begins at St Francis Xavier Church, Broad Street and concludes in the cathedral.

Sunday 20 April
8 am – Holy Communion with hymns from the Book of Common Prayer 1662
10 am – Cathedral Eucharist

11.30 am – Choral Matins
3.30 pm – Choral Evensong
